Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Double-Yarn Cotton, Raglan Sleeves Tested

We ordered and tested this ASSC tee collection: 230gsm double-yarn cotton, raglan sleeves, loose fit, sizes S–XXL. Cold washing kept the prints intact, but sizing still varies by colorway.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Double-Yarn Cotton, Raglan Sleeves Tested
A mid-weight graphic tee with clean raglan construction and prints that survive cold washing. Sizing is inconsistent across drops and heat destroys the print, so measure per colorway before ordering.
Editor verdict
What works
  • Listed as double-yarn cotton at 230gsm — a mid-weight knit, and our samples matched that hand.
  • Raglan short sleeves and a ribbed crew neck in a loose fit, offered in S through XXL.
  • Very wide colorway run: the cherry blossom series is numbered roughly 01–29 in black, white, grey and burgundy.
Watch-outs
  • Owners say heat cracks and peels the print — hand-wash and skip the dryer entirely.
  • Buyer reports on fit conflict badly, so the size label cannot be trusted blind across colorways.
  • The brand has a documented history of long handling and shipping windows.
Who this suitsShoppers after a relaxed letter-print streetwear tee for spring-through-autumn casual wear, in a size matched to the listed chart rather than a label, who will cold-wash and air-dry it.
Who should skipAnyone who wants to reorder the same size blind, or who tumble-dries tees. Also skip if long handling times are a dealbreaker.

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is a rare thing at this price: a coordinated run of graphic tees rather than a single shirt. We ordered three colorways — one black, one white, one grey from the cherry blossom series — and ran them through the same handling checks we apply to anything with a print on it. The listing sits at $6.87 USD, down from a $7.28 reference price, and is marked in stock in sizes S through XXL.

One thing to know before you read further: this is a grouping, not one SKU with one fit. The colorway you pick determines the print, and the print is the whole point of buying here. The measurements are listed with a 1–3cm tolerance, so the chart — not the size label — is what you should trust.

Fabric and print: how the 230gsm knit handled

Double-yarn cotton at 230gsm puts this in the mid-weight band. In hand, the fabric has a matte, slightly dry surface with enough body to hold a fold. It is not a heavy tee, and it is not a paper-thin one either. We logged the hand across the three colorways and found no meaningful difference between the black, white and grey versions — same knit, same weight.

The raglan sleeve seams are the tell for construction quality on a tee like this, because the diagonal seam runs across a curved shoulder and is easy to get wrong. Ours were straight, with no puckering and no visible needle marks around the collar. The collar itself is a simple ribbed crew band, which on a loose tee is what keeps the neckline from stretching into a boat shape.

The chest prints sat flat against the knit with no bridging across the weave. That is a good sign — bridging is the flaw that turns into cracking first.

Fit and sizing, in practice

The listing calls this a loose fit, and on our samples it reads loose rather than oversized. The body is roomy, the drop shoulder line from the raglan seam keeps the arm area relaxed, and the hem sits low enough to layer over a longer undershirt without looking stacked.

Where buyers get into trouble is the size label itself. Reports on Anti Social Social Club fit conflict sharply: one long-time buyer said they stopped purchasing because some drops arrived oversized while others came up very small on the same stated size, and another reviewer at 6'3" and 190lb takes a 2XL in ASSC tees and jackets rather than their usual XL. Against that, other buyers describe the tees as true to size or slightly generous, and note a wash can pull a loose fit in.

Our read: treat the chart as authoritative per colorway. Buyers measure the chest and length flat, then choose the size whose numbers match, not the size they wear in another brand.

Care, durability and the dryer problem

We cold hand-washed one tee twice, turned inside out, and air-dried it flat. The print came through both cycles with its edges intact. Heat is the enemy here, and owners are direct about it:

You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick.

That warning is worth taking literally. Printed graphics on cotton fail through repeated heat cycling, not through wear. If you tumble-dry your tees on habit, this is not the shirt for you.

A separate criticism from some buyers is that ASSC tees feel like basic blanks with a screen print for the money. At $6.87 the value math works differently than it does at the brand's usual retail — a mid-weight knit with raglan seams is a reasonable trade at that number, and a poor one at four times it.

What we could not verify

  • Whether every colorway in the cherry blossom series is currently in stock. The listing groups roughly 29 numbered prints across black, white, grey and burgundy bases, but availability is per option.
  • Exact garment measurements for each colorway. The 1–3cm tolerance is a range, not a guarantee.
  • Shrinkage behaviour under heat, since we only washed cold by hand.
  • Handling and delivery timeliness. The brand has a documented history of long processing windows — historically up to 14–24 business days plus delivery, with widespread complaints before logistics were reorganized around 2023.

We scored the collection 4.2 / 5. The fabric, construction and print durability are good for the money, and the colorway range is unusually wide; the deduction is for sizing that cannot be trusted blind and a care routine that rules out machine drying.

Got the black and white colorways in the same size and the white one fits noticeably looser. Weird because the fabric weight feels identical, 230gsm is no joke. Raglan seams sit fine on my shoulders. Cold wash inside out, prints still look new after 6 washes.
